Former Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny is ‘convinced’ Arsenal won’t win the Premier League title.
Kenny was speaking to Football Insider amid the Gunners’ lightning start to the season.
Mikel Arteta’s side have won seven of their first eight Premier League fixtures and sit top of the Premier League table.

However, despite flying out of the gate, Kenny has admitted he can’t see past Manchester City when it comes to the title – but he has been impressed by the north London club.
He said: “I’m convinced Man City will win it easily, I’m sorry to say.
“I do think Arsenal have progressed massively from last season. We can all see that, but a top-four finish, for me, has to be the aim for them this season.
“Get back in the Champions League and go from there. It’s progress. I think they will, with the way things are going at the minute. They are top-four contenders.
“For the title, I’m sorry to say, the brutal truth is I just can’t look past Man City. It’s a long old season and I can’t see past them.
“Fair play to Arsenal, they have had a comfortable start to the season. Bar the Man United match, which they lost, the Tottenham game was their biggest test and they have passed it.
“They have more steel in them this year.
“It’s about progression and they are progressing.”
Fresh off defeating rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal will take on Liverpool this weekend in what will be another strong test of the club’s title credentials.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have won each of the last four head-to-head meetings in the Premier League including each of the last two at the Emirates.
But the Reds are yet to win on the road this term and have conceded eight goals in all competitions away from home in four games.
If the Gunners manage to carve out another victory and continue to overcome these hurdles then they will have to start winning the likes of Kenny over.
But for now, whether they are contenders or pretenders remains to be seen and this weekend’s fixture will go a long way in telling us just where they stand
