“I’ve agreed personal terms to join Arsenal but the transfer is on hold for now because I asked them to sell TWO players first, I can’t work with such players”: Arsenal transfer target Arda Guler confirms he’ll join Arsenal but ONE DANGEROUS condition

As per a report published by Sport, Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid youngster Arda Guler. The Premier League club believe he could be their next game and can replicate a success story just like Martin Odegaard.

Arda Guler is a promising talent
Real Madrid signed Arda Guler from Fenerbahce last summer, which turned out to be a good move. The youngster was immediately impressed with his on-field performances. He seems like a promising name for the future of the Spanish club.

However, Guler has been struggling to get enough game time this season. He has featured across 12 games so far, accounting for a total of 307 minutes. He is averaging 2 shots, 1.7 key passes, and 1 dribble per game (stats via whoscored).

The Turkish attacker is versatile enough to feature in multiple roles on the attacking front. He has incredible abilities on the ball and is an attractive playmaker. He also contributes to the defensive aspects and has the potential to serve a top-tier club for many years.

Next Martin Odegaard?
When Arsenal signed Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid, many doubted their decision. It was a pure gamble with little chance of working work. However, the deal turned out to be a gold mine for the English club as the player emerged as one of their key players in recent years.

Looking to replicate the success story with Arda Guler, the Gunners want to sign him. They believe he has the potential to run shows on European nights. Moreover, Mikel Arteta‘s side has been struggling a bit up front and the youngster’s arrival can help in that aspect for sure.

However, it remains to be seen if Arsenal will be able to crack a deal with Real Madrid or not. The Spanish club are unlikely to sell their hot property so easily. Instead, they will prefer a loan spell so that Guler can continue to develop his game.
