Jeremy Doku vs Bukayo Saka..who is better!? Check their Recent stats that shows One is highly overrated

Rio Ferdinand has said that currently, Jeremy Doku is better than Bukayo Saka.

On FIVE’s official YouTube channel, the pundit was full of praise for Doku’s impact in the Premier League so far.

After Manchester City drew 1-1 to Liverpool on Saturday, Bernardo Silva also described the £55.5 million (Sky Sports) man as a “very good signing.”

Rio Ferdinand says Jeremy Doku is better than Bukayo Saka currently
Even Reds skipper Virgil van Dijk admitted that the 21-year-old is bound to give every defender he faces a “tough afternoon.”

Leandro Trossard also hailed his fellow countryman as “extremely dangerous”, especially in the form he is in.

Now, Rio Ferdinand has broken down why Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku is better than Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka currently.

“Form-wise, you have to go Doku. He is opening teams up. That’s the quietest I’ve seen Saka this season against Brentford. But the two moments in the game, big moments, one was a goal and one was the disallowed goal for VAR came from Saka. He’s now not having to beat people even now, he’s just opening up, give him a bit too much space, he’s just putting the ball on a six-pence for people. Saka is top level.”

“But Doku, I’m paying to watch Doku over any other winger in the league right now. Aaron Lennon, we had him on the show the other day, he said, ‘That’s all I want. Get the ball, face the defender.’ This is what this geezer is doing. He smoked Trent [Alexander-Arnold] the other day”, he told FIVE.

Jeremy Doku has certainly been better than the Arsenal winger this season
Rio Ferdinand has a point as while Bukayo Saka, in general, is an incredible player, he is not at his best currently and ergo, at the same level as the high-flying Jeremy Doku this season.

The Englishman is putting up the numbers so far, with four goals and five assists in the Premier League but where the Manchester City speedster has pipped him is in terms of his all-round displays.

Jeremy Doku has done what Bukayo Saka did last season in terms of giving defenders a hellish time up against him and creating several chances for his teammates.

The former Rennes wideman’s overall impact on games has been constant unlike Saka’s, who has shone when it comes to producing a moment of magic, like his assist that set up Kai Havertz’s late winner against Brentford.

Barring Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah, who has been world-class once again this campaign, has there been a more in-form winger in the Premier League than Jeremy Doku?

It would certainly be a challenge to single out even one name.
