Arsenal may still sign a new attacking player this summer, but with just days left in the window, they don’t have tons of options.
However, as we all know, there are still opportunities that can crop up right to the end of deadline day.
Speaking on Men in Blazers, Fabrizio Romano has been discussing what Arsenal could do before the end of the transfer window, and he’s believes there’s a great opportunity on the market for the Gunners.
Indeed, Kingsley Coman has been linked to Arsenal, and Romano believes that Coman could be the perfect player for the north London club to sign before the end of the summer.
Kingsley Coman could be perfect for Arsenal
Romano spoke about Coman and Arsenal’s opportunity to sign him.
“I’ll mention one name, that is Kingsley Coman. Kingsley Coman he has some possibilities in Saudi and he’s on the list of Barcelona. For Arsenal he could be a perfect solution. The problem there is a salary, because he’s on a big salary at Bayern. I think they can do one more after Mikel Merino,” Romano said
Kingsley Coman could be ideal for Arsenal
Coman could be just what Arsenal need right now.
The Frenchman is, of course, a quality player – after all, he’s a World Cup and Champions League winner.
However, he’s also a very versatile attacking player who could plug numerous gaps in this team.
He’d provide that extra depth behind Bukayo Saka that Arsenal have been lacking, and he’d also bring a real winners’ mentality to the side.
As Romano says, wages are a problem, but if Arsenal could get this deal done, they’d be getting a player who would suit them to a tee.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on between now and the end of the transfer window.
