JUST IN: Man united Star Jadon Sancho contract set to be terminated after talking back at Erik Ten Hag today,Club board meeting schedule to hold tomorrow as to take next action
Jadon Sancho’s time at Manchester United could to be coming to an end as he clashed with boss Erik ten Hag over the weekend.
Sancho was left out of United’s squad as they travelled to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal. And explaining his absence, after the game, Ten Hag said Sancho had not reached the “level” required to be selected.
However, Sancho hit back: “Please don’t believe everything you read. I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself very well in training this week.
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”
Sancho was once hot property at Old Trafford – and even wowed his future employers with his first trip to Carrington, when he played for Manchester city.
Sancho was one of the top talents coming through the City academy, when he was playing his first season of Under-18s football in a side that also featured Brahim Diaz and Phil Foden.
Sancho started the game on the bench, despite his impressive run of scoring seven goals in 11 appearances.
However, once introduced, Sancho was the game-changer, helping his side salvage a 1-1 draw against their bitter rivals. Red Devils bosses were stunned, and they tried to lure him to the red half of Manchester.
Sancho elected to move to Dortmund, unsure of his path to the first team at City, before he finally moved to United in 2021.
