JUST IN: Man Utd submit offer, hell-bent on signing £51million star – Report
Manchester United must sign a quality striker and reports indicate they are hell-bent on luring Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.
According to Corriere della Sera, the Danish international was signed in a deal worth 17 million euros last and year and the Italian club have already received an offer worth more than double.
The Milan based news source have revealed that Man Utd are pressing to sign him for weeks and have even submitted an offer of 35 million euros.
However, Atalanta have turned it down and know that the auction could reach a figure of 60 million euros (£51million).
Hojlund has already hinted that he would like to play for the Red Devils when earlier this month, he stated:
“My goal is to reach the top level and Manchester United is, but I haven’t spoken to Ten Hag”
In the last campaign, the 20-year-old directly contributed in 23 goals in all competitions (16 goals and 7 assists).
On the other hand, for the senior international side, so far, the young center forward has started four games and found the net five times.
Rasmus Hojlund is a talented prospect but he is surely not a finished product. We are also linked with proven quality goal scorers like Kane and Osimhen but they are expected to cost way more than £51million.
In your view, should Man Utd raise the offer to £51million to sign the Atalanta striker?
