Just in – Manchester United plot triple raid to sign £68m striker, £34m playmaker and free midfielder – journalist
Manchester United are plotting a triple raid to sign Vlahovic, Chiesa and Rabiot from Juventus in the summer transfer window.
As per today’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below), the Old Lady are looking to raise 100 to 120 million euros from the sale of players.
The famous Italian source claim the Red Devils are after Dusan Vlahovic and the Bianconeri are prepared to offload him in a deal worth 80 million euros (£68m).
It is reported that the likes of Atletico Madrid, Bayern, Chelsea, PSG and Newcastle are also after the former Fiorentina center forward.
On the other hand, CdS claim Man United are also interested in signing Italian playmaker, Federico Chiesa, who can be lured for a fee of 40 million euros (£34m).
Last but not the least, the Old Trafford club want to sign Adrien Rabiot for free as the Frenchman will be out of contract on 30th June
According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, United are moving to lure the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder on a bosman after failing to get him last summer.
GdS claim Juventus are still making efforts to extend the Les Bleus player’s stay at the club.
Vlahovic was the top scorer for Juventus last term, Rabiot was arguably their best player and Chiesa was mostly out injured.
Erik ten Hag needs to adequately improve the Man Utd attack and midfield in the summer transfer window. The question is, should he complete the triple raid from Italy?
