‘Leave my Club’: Player who always call Arteta a DISGRACE has been told to find a new Club as soon as possible or else his contract will be terminated
Stan Collymore has called Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a ‘disgrace’ after the former Arsenal striker and current Chelsea man was pictured in the Barcelona dressing room after their El Clasico win over Real Madrid.
The 33-year-old, who joined Barcelona last January after Mikel Arteta booted him out of the door at Arsenal, spent six months at the Nou Camp, before the now-sacked, Thomas Tuchel, brought him to Chelsea in the summer
To nobody’s surprise, it has been a disaster of a transfer by the Stamford Bridge club, with only 18 appearances and three goals to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s since joining.
Well, whenever Aubameyang is about, there always seems to be drama and he didn’t help himself by going into the Barcelona dressing room after their last-minute win over Real Madrid.
There are now suggestions that Chelsea are ready to ‘terminate’ the contract of the £160k-a-week former Arsenal man – it’s Deja vu for the Gabon star because Mikel Arteta was doing just that 12 months ago.
Former Premier League striker Stan Collymore didn’t mince his words when talking about the situation calling it ‘shambolic’, ‘an absolute no-no’ and ‘unreal’, as he told CaughtOffside.
“What can you say about the photo Ferran Torres shared of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang celebrating with the Barcelona squad after they beat Real Madrid on Sunday? – It’s shambolic,” said Collymore.
“A lot of younger fans will say ‘what’s the problem?’ – but it’s not right. This is an elite-level competitive sport – you do not cross certain boundaries and celebrating another team’s victory inside their dressing room is an absolute no-no
“We always refer back to the likes of Roy Keane and Graeme Souness when we’re talking about passion and loyalty to a club and I know it’s hard for anyone to emulate the way those two and others from their era conducted themselves, but Aubameyang is so far away from it it’s unreal.
“He’s a Chelsea player so while he’s there, he should be coming across as blue through and through but he doesn’t. He doesn’t really stand for anything, he’s ubiquitous. He’s primed to disappear into the Middle East and Graham Potter will probably be thanking his lucky stars.”
ARTETA, THE GENIUS
The former midfielder might have been unproven when he first took the Arsenal job in 2019, but one thing that can’t be denied is his man-management skills.
From booting out Mesut Ozil, who has since retired at the age of 34, to having enough of Aubameyang last season, stripping him of the captain’s armband and waving goodbye to the striker
All these calls have proven to have unbelievably positive effects on the north London club to the point where it will play a part in them possibly becoming champions of England in May.
