“Leave My Team now”: Arteta ‘Often Annoyed’ By One Arsenal Star’s ‘Behaviour’ – That’s Why He Was Told To Leave
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not want to keep Nuno Tavares, who is on the radar of David Moyes’s West Ham United, according to a report.
A Bola have reported that West Ham United are interested in signing Nuno Tavares from London and Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The report in the Portuguese publication has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not count on Tavares for next season and is willing to sell the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window.
Although Arsenal have not set a price on Tavares, they would like to recoup the €8 million (£7 million) transfer fee they paid to Benfica in 2021.
A Bola have aded that West Ham have made an offer to Arsenal for the Portuguese youngster, described as “a young player with great promise” by Arteta on the Gunners’ official website in July 2021.
No future for Nuno Tavares at Arsenal
In our view, there is no long-term future for Nuno Tavares at Arsenal.
The 23-year-old has not really made a big impact at the Gunners
And that Arteta decided to send the Portuguese left-back to Marseille on loan in the summer of 2022 suggests that the Arsenal boss does not really rate him highly.
Oleksandr Zinchenko is the number one left-back at Arsenal at the moment, and Kieran Tierney is the back-up.
So, it is really hard to see Tavares get much playing time at the Gunners next season.
