£65M Premier League player would join Arsenal than Manchester United or any other club in coming days
Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise would make a move to Arsenal over Manchester United this month.
The talented French attacker has the potential to play for some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League. Now, Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with a move to sign him, and Football Transfers claim he’s keen to rather join the Gunners.
Michael Olise would rather join Arsenal than Manchester United
Both Arsenal and Manchester United could do with attacking reinforcements in this month’s transfer window, and Micheal Olise would be a fantastic signing for the Gunners especially.
The 22-year-old Crystal Palace man missed the first 11 games of the season due to a hamstring injury. He returned in November and has been exceptional since.
Olise has scored five goals and picked up an assist in his last four games, and it’s no surprise at all that he is a wanted man this month.
The Evening Standard reported this week that Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to make Olise one of his first signings at Manchester United, while Arsenal have also been linked with a move to sign him.
Football Transfers now claim that Olise would much rather join Mikel Arteta‘s side this month. The winger is a boyhood Gooner and a source has told the outlet that he would ‘very much prefer’ a move to Arsenal over Manchester United.
Olise reportedly has a release clause in his contract worth around £60- 65million, but that only comes into effect at the end of this season.
Olise would be fantastic in Mikel Arteta’s side
Mikel Arteta prefers to have a left-footed right-winger in his side, and unfortunately for him at Arsenal, he only has Bukayo Saka at his disposal.
As a result, the Englishman plays almost every single game. He hardly ever gets a break, and that has raised concerns that he may pick up an injury.
Michael Olise would be a perfect player to fill that role at Arsenal. He will push Saka to become much better, and even just as an option off the bench, he would offer so much to this Gunners side.
The Palace star has scored just one less goal than Saka in the Premier League despite playing almost 1200 fewer minutes of football this season.
The report claims Arsenal could potentially make a move for Olise this month, but that depends on outgoings. A summer move looks more likely and Gunners will be keen to welcome him as their first January signing.
