Monday Morning deal: Manchester United completes the signing of sensational left back as Luke Shaw replacement,Fee agreed on a 4yr deal – here we go
Manchester United are in the market for a new left back and the name of Ferdi Kadioglu is in the lime light lately.
A few days ago, Calcio Mercato revealed that the Red Devils are favorites to hire the services of the Turkish international from Fenerbahce.
More recently, reports coming from Turkey indicate that Man Utd have submitted an offer to lure Kadioglu.
According to A Spor, Erik ten Hag is keen on brining the 24-year-old defender to Old Trafford and has told the club management that the signing must be completed.
On the other hand, as per Sabah, Man Utd have tabled an offer worth 25 million euros to sign Kadioglu, but the bid might not be enough.
According to the media outlet, Fenerbahce want at least £30million (35 million euros) from the sale of their prized asset.
Kadioglu was a key member of the Sari Kanaryala squad that won the Turkish Cup in the 2022-23 campaign.
Last term, he was unlucky not to win the league title after Fenerbahce registered 99 points, lost just once and saw arch rivals Galatasaray lift the trophy.
At the European Championships, the 20-capped international featured in every single game for Turkey, who were eliminated by the Netherlands in the last eight.
Last season, United’s first and second choice left backs, Shaw and Malacia, were mostly on the treatment table, therefore, the position must be reinforced this summer.
In your view, should Man Utd splash £30million to sign Ferdi Kadioglu?
