MONDAY MORNING NEWS: Saudi Arabia are set to hand Man United a ‘perfect’ transfer window after a whopping sum of almost £130M was offered to Man united in exchange for FOUR United stars- No other PL club earned up to 100M from sales this summer- Erik Ten Hag to decide before Chelsea comes in

We’ll start today’s Premier League transfer rumour round-up with Champions League runner-up Jadon Sancho, who is reportedly willing to give it another go at Manchester United next season. However, according to the Mirror, the England international is more than aware that his future at Old Trafford looks bleak while Erik ten Hag remains in charge.

Sancho has rediscovered his best form while on loan at Borussia Dortmund and his performances were key in helping the club reach the Champions League final. As such, many supporters will be keen to see the winger return to United this summer and turn over a new leaf.

His relationship with ten Hag is feared to be beyond repair, but with the Dutch manager’s position uncertain, it seems Sancho could yet be given hope of a fresh start with the Red Devils.

The 3AM Verdict: Sancho sent a strong message to decision makers at Old Trafford with his performances in the yellow of Dortmund and if he can find that form in the Premier League, he has the potential to be a key man for the Red Devils. If ten Hag stays, the Dutchman may be forced to have some difficult conversations with the winger.

Newcastle willing to sell
Newcastle United have reportedly placed Matt Targett on their transfer list as the summer window approaches. The Magpies’ PSR struggles have been well-documented and there is the recognition that the club must free up space within the squad in order to make the necessary additions this time around.

According to The Athletic then, Newcastle have identified Targett, who cost the club £15m in 2022, as one player they are willing to see leave, with the left-back said to be earning £100k a week in wages. Eddie Howe has Dan Burn, Lewis Hall, Kieran Trippier and Tino Livramento who are all able to play on the left and given the former Aston Villa man made just three Premier League appearances this season, he could be seen as dispensable.

The 3AM Verdict: This one makes sense for Newcastle as they continue to grow and strive for bigger and better things. Targett struggled with injuries this season and his chances of being able to force his way into Eddie Howe’s plans next season appear to be slim. His sale would allow them to recruit elsewhere.

Maatsen latest
Borussia Dortmund could have a battle on their hands if they’re to sign Ian Maatsen from Chelsea this season, it seems. According to the Mail, the German outfit do not have a first option to buy the Dutchman this summer and as a result, he is able to join any club that activates his £35m release clause.

Maatsen is expected to move on this summer, despite the anticipated arrival of Enzo Maresca with the assumption being that he would make his loan at Dortmund permanent. But, that might not turn out to be the case with his form in Germany unlikely to have gone unnoticed by other clubs across Europe.

The left-back joined Dortmund in January after struggling for consistent minutes in the Premier League and went on to make 23 appearances for the club.
