‘My Hattrick is sure that day,we will see who will disgrace who that day’: Tottenham Captain Son Heung-min fires Tottenham warning to Arsenal ahead of North London Derby on SUNDAY

Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min has fired a warning to Arsenal ahead of Sunday’s highly-anticipated North London Derby. Both teams have started the 2023/24 Premier League campaign in impressive fashion, accumulating 13 points from their opening five outings.

Spurs have played some excellent free-flowing attacking football, winning each of their last four league fixtures – including a dramatic injury-time turnaround against Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Gunners haven’t looked quite as slick in the final third but their defensive solidity has been impressive, conceding just 4.13 xGA (expected goals against), a tally that can only be bettered by Manchester City, as per Understat.

Now, Ange Postecoglou and Mikel Arteta will be preparing their squads for Sunday’s meeting at the Emirates Stadium, the first North London Derby since the Australian arrived in N17 over the summer. Ahead of the mouth-watering encounter, Tottenham forward Son has claimed that Arteta and Co won’t want to face his side given their impressive form going into the clash.

“[Arsenal] won’t want to face us at this time,” the South Korean international said, via The Times. “Everyone is running for each other, everyone is fighting for each other.

“If someone comes off you give a hand off and everyone is happy to do that. That makes us really strong as a team.”

Before Sunday’s match, Arsenal will take on PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night – the first time the Gunners have played in Europe’s elite competition since the 2016/17 campaign.
