It’s been weeks now but Man Utd have finally reached an agreement to sign Bayern Munich duo Noussair Mazzraoui and Matthijs de Ligt.

A long-drawn saga has finally reached its conclusion with it being only a matter of time before the two are announced in a Red Devils jersey.

However, it looks like the Red Devils are not done yet in the transfer market. They are not even done with defensive signings. It looks like the Man Utd board have decided to go all-in this transfer window and massively improve the squad.

As per Spanish publication, Fichajes, Man Utd are now prepared to reach a final deal to sign Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu. The Euro 2024 star has caught the eye with his performance for Turkey recently, much like almost his entire nation.

We covered a story around a month ago that revealed that Man Utd are favourites to sign the 24-year-old and the Red Devils had submitted a bid and that the Turkish club were expecting around £30m to part ways with him this summer.

Kadioglou is predominantly a left-back but shows extreme versatility to play both in central midfield as well as right-back. That is quite impressive for a player. His explosiveness down the left flank is incredible and he adds a lot of pace to the team.

Man Utd currently have Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia to play at left-back. However, the duo have faced immense injury issues over the past 12 months. In fact, the former has had injury issues throughout his career.

Erik ten Hag would want to have another option for the position considering how frequent these injuries are. Kadioglou is an exciting prospect and Man Utd would do well to sign him this summer. Let’s see if the Turkish international can end up at Old Trafford by the time the season starts.
