OFFICIAL NOW: Player in London as He is set to pen down 5yr deal with Man united, United first signing to be announced today after reaching agreement last night
Manchester United are reportedly prepared to offer Crystal Palace Aaron Wan-Bissaka plus money as part of a deal for Michael Olise.
As reported by The Daily Star, Wan-Bissaka could return to Palace in the summer, with the Eagles eager to re-sign him.
United are looking to strengthen their squad, especially after Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s £1.3billion investment for 25 per cent of the club, which has yet to be ratified.
Olise, who has scored five goals in nine league games so far this season, has emerged as one of United’s key targets.
United recently activated an option to extend Wan-Bissaka’s contract, which had been due to expire at the conclusion of this campaign, by a further year.
Wan-Bissaka started his career at Palace after coming through the academy and made 46 senior appearances for the club.
The right-back signed for United for £50million in 2019. He has played 175 games for the Red Devils but has often struggled with injuries.
Olise signed a new contract with Palace in August that is set to run until 2027.
The deal includes an increased buy-out clause which hasn’t been disclosed.
With his flair and directness Olise, 22, could help to rejuvenate United’s attack if a deal came to fruition
