Personal terms agreed: £60m superstar has agreed 4-years deal to join Man United as thousands of fans floods Old Trafford ahead of his unveiling today

Man United have come to terms on a contract for Noussair Mazraoui, assuming a deal can now be struck with Bayern Munich.

Manchester United Football Club are now hunting down their third summer signing. This move will not be as straightforward as the first two, due to the fact that money is now tighter.

INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe never made it a secret that the Red Devils would have to be extra careful this time around, in order to comply with Premier League spending rules.

The next name the Old Trafford side are chasing is Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich. The 20-time Premier League champions are confident that they can secure a deal to sign the man from Morocco.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on that front. He is claiming that United have reached an agreement over personal terms with the potential signing, with a five-year contract in the offing for Mazraoui. It will be valid until 2029.

As is the case with both Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, United will have the option to extend Mazraoui’s deal by a further year. The right-back is now waiting for United to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka before a deal can be completed.

Check out Fabrizio Romano’s X post on the news here:
I guess now it’s just about being patient. West Ham United appear to be intent on signing Wan-Bissaka from United, so let’s see how smoothly those negotiations go, with Mazraoui just sitting in and waiting for the deal to be agreed.

We’ve said it before on here, but this feels like a side-step. Yes, Mazraoui is a better fit. Wan-Bissaka is probably the superior player, particularly defensively.

Ten Hag has never been completely sold on Wan-Bissaka due to his lack of output in the final third which is fair enough. Hence, a move for Mazraoui definitely makes sense.
