Arsenal are reportedly set to make a significant offer for Fenerbahce’s rising star, Ferdi Kadıoğlu.
Following positive scouting reports and Kadıoğlu’s impressive form, the Gunners seem keen to bring the Turkish international to the Emirates.

Arsenal‘s scouting efforts for Fenerbahce‘s Ferdi Kadıoğlu seem set to culminate in a potential offer for the player.

Among other outings, the club’s first-team scout, Romain Poirot, was in attendance at Fenerbahce’s clash with Trabzonspor to specifically watch Kadıoğlu, a 24-year-old who has established himself as a key player at the Turkish club.

Kadıoğlu, versatile in playing across the pitch, has been identified as a rising talent in Turkish football. His performances have not only solidified his position at Fenerbahce but also attracted attention from various European clubs, including Arsenal.

This interest was further confirmed by journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who reported that Poirot provided a ‘positive report’ on Kadıoğlu to Arsenal.

Despite witnessing Fenerbahce’s first defeat of the season in the game he attended, Poirot was reportedly impressed with Kadıoğlu’s performance. This has led to speculation about Arsenal’s next steps.

The club’s left-back, Oleksandr Zinchenko, is currently dealing with a calf problem, which might accelerate their actions regarding Kadıoğlu.

Sabah‘s latest report suggests that Arsenal are preparing to travel to Istanbul ‘next week’ with an offer for the Turkish international.

The club’s officials are said to be ‘enchanted’ with Kadıoğlu’s form for both club and country.

However, Fenerbahçe are not keen on parting ways with him in January and are considering a sale at the end of this season.

Despite a current valuation of €20m, Fenerbahçe reportedly will not accept any offer less than €30m.

In terms of personal stance, Kadıoğlu is reportedly committed to Fenerbahçe and doesn’t want to let the club down, indicating he is unlikely to force a move in the winter market.

This leaves Arsenal with the task of presenting a convincing proposal if they wish to secure his services this month.

Kadıoğlu’s contract with Fenerbahçe, which he joined in July 2018, runs until June 30, 2026, following a last contract extension on March 17, 2022.
