Real Madrid offer 3-year mouth watering offer to Arsenal best player – Arteta made it known he doesn’t want him anymore
Dani Ceballos has (finally) been making a name for himself in recent weeks and Real Madrid club president, Florentino Pérez, wants to keep him in the squad as his contract expiration date approaches.
The club has already started negotiations on a new contract and has offered Ceballos a three-season deal with an increase in salary.
Previously, Ceballos was not best liked by Pérez, but with the support of coach Carlo Ancelotti, the situation has changed in the last few months.
Real Madrid were even said to be willing to let him go in the winter transfer window, but no offers materialised.
Now, Real Madrid are focused on retaining Ceballos and are confident he will accept their offer.
The proposed deal would see Ceballos tied to Real Madrid until 2026, earning a salary of approximately €6m. This is an increase from his current salary of €3.5m per season. The club has communicated the offer to Ceballos and his representatives and it seems likely that he will continue with Real Madrid after the summer.
If negotiations do not work out, Ceballos has other options. Atlético Madrid recently expressed interest, but Ceballos has always made it clear that he wants to stay with Real Madrid.
If a renewal does not happen, he would prioritise a move to Real Betis.
Recently, Ceballos has earned the admiration of Real Madrid fans for his performances and a chant of “Ceballos, stay” has been heard at recent games.
Real Madrid is looking to rebuild its midfield with young talent, but Ceballos is still a sought-after player.
He wants to continue playing for Real Madrid but would like to see more playing time.
The fans, reportedly, want more of Ceballos and less of Eden Hazard, who has been injured for a month.
