HITC understands that Ipswich Town are closing in on the signing of star midfielder Omari Hutchinson from Chelsea this summer.
Sources have told HITC that Chelsea could not guarantee the Englishman game time so a move away from Stamford Bridge was seen as the best solution for everyone.

After impressing for the club as a teenager, Hutchinson was selected to show off his skills to iconic Brazilian Pele and it now appears he will be experiencing Premier League football next season.
On meeting the iconic Brazilian forward, Hutchinson told The Sun: “After the tournament finished, they gathered everyone together and picked one player from each team to showcase their skills.
“Everyone at Arsenal was shouting my name to go forward so I did a few skills.
“And Pele said a few nice words to me and let me sit on his knee. We then took a group photo with him.
“My grandmother Gloria is a huge fan of Pele. She loved him to bits so for me to see him and rest on his knee was a dream come true for her.
“But Pele was my hero growing up. I used to watch a lot of Santi Cazorla, Neymar and Messi.
Chelsea make decision to sell Hutchinson
After garnering such high praise from one of the greatest footballers who has ever lived, it is perhaps a surprise to see that the Englishman never made it at the Gunners.
Since Mikel Arteta took over at the Emirates Stadium, the Spaniard has been keen on giving chances to academy graduates and Hutchinson could well have been one of those but it didn’t work out.
A move to Chelsea certainly did not work out for the youngster and the Blues are now set to be paid around £22 million for the 22-year-old.
The deal to take Hutchinson to Portman Road does not include a buyback clause but is understood to include a hefty sell-on clause.
