Signed and completed: Man united set to complete the signing of £40m highly rated superstar today, paperwork done as medical booked for the player

If reports in the Catalan media are anything to go by then Manchester United are ready to sell Donny van de Beek to be able to secure the signing of Sofyan Amrabat.

As per today’s version of Mundo Deportivo (news image provided below), the Old Trafford outfit, who signed the Dutchman for £34.4million, are prepared to offload him this summer

Real Sociedad are interested in signing the 26-year-old midfielder, and his sale will help United hire the services of Amrabat from Fiorentina.

Van de Beek joined the Red Devils in 2020 when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge of the club. However, he never got a fair chance under the Norwegian manager.

The Oranje midfielder was a superstar at Ajax under the management of Erik ten Hag. Unfortunately, last season, the 19-capped international spent majority of the time on the treatment table and started just two games in the Premier League.

Now that Ten Hag has signed a creative CM in Mason Mount, there is no real need to hold on to Van de Beek and it is not surprising he has been put up for sale.

A few days back, The Mail revealed United would like to sell the former Eredivisie star, whose contract will expire in 2025, for £25million

As far as Amrabat is concerned, another Catalan source, Sport, claim Fiorentina are demanding a fee of 40 million euros (£34.4million) from the sale of the Moroccan.

Surprisingly, the news source state the African star wants to move to Atletico Madrid, however, we know he has already agreed to move to Man Utd.
