Pundit Kevin Campbell has said that what especially makes Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko such a great player is how much he has improved others around him since his arrival.
The former Gunners striker made this point on the Highbury Squad podcast while discussing the £32 million (Sky Sports) man’s impact on the side.
While Oleksandr Zinchenko has often been praised by how brilliant he has been since signing for Arsenal from day one, pundit Kevin Campbell has highlighted how much his presence enhances others.

The former Manchester City defender has been a revelation since signing for Mikel Arteta’s side, especially due to his experience of operating in the inverted left-back position.
While Kieran Tierney has been such a reliable player over the years, the Ukrainian is understandably being favoured due to how impactful he is to the side.
Pundit Kevin Campbell highlighted this very observation about Oleksandr Zinchenko, while praising how much his presence improves his Arsenal teammates, as well as the responsibility he takes on the pitch.
“Let me just say this, I have never in my time in football seen a left-back pop up on the right-hand side and play balls through to the right winger to go through and score like Zinchenko did against Everton.”
“He just goes where he can impact the game. And Mikel Arteta trusts him, you can see that the team trusts him to get the job done. We’ve seen [Granit] Xhaka improve when he’s there, we’ve seen [Gabriel] Martinelli improve when he’s there, we’ve seen Jesus have a good game when he’s there, we’ve seen [Thomas] Partey dovetail perfectly with him in that centre of midfield. What a player.”
