‘Sometimes pass to the left’: Rob Holding jokingly mocks Arsenal player’s passing in Dubai

Rob Holding has jokingly mocked his teammate Mohamed Elneny and his passing via his Instagram story and told him to ‘sometimes pass to the left’.

Mikel Arteta’s side are preparing for the return of domestic football where the London club are sitting at the top of the Premier League table.

They were out in Dubai on Tuesday, where they beat Italian giants and current Serie A champions AC Milan 2-1, with Holding starting at the heart of the defence alongside Gabriel, with Elneny used as a sub.

Whilst certain Arsenal players are now returning from World Cup duty, they haven’t yet been involved with their teammates, but they will be slowly brought back in during this next week.

That’s why someone like Holding is starting because William Saliba, albeit he’s not starting, is still in Qatar with France.

Nonetheless, following yesterday’s game, Holding posted an image of himself standing next to Elneny against AC Milan where he is pointing, as he added in the caption: ‘@elnannym sometime pass to the left bro’, added with a laughing emoji.

FINDING MOMENTUM AGAIN

Arsenal were probably one of the few teams that didn’t want Premier League football to be halted for the World Cup because of how well they were cooking.

Those first few games back will be very crucial because it’s their time to find that momentum again.

If they can do that as quickly as possible, and it has to be without the injured Gabriel Jesus, then fans can start to believe again that they can become champions of England.

It has been a long time coming, years of hurt, woeful defending, legendary figures leaving, and managers getting sacked.

But, for the first time in a long time, fans believe more than ever that they can get over that line.
