Manchester United

The Fans wanted Him out but I pleaded with the board to gave Him 2yrs contract now the fans are loving Him already”, Erik Ten Hag says £50m player that fans wanted out of the team is now showing what He has to offer after yesterday excellent performance

Our Man United player ratings from the opening 2024/25 Premier League game against Fulham are now in.

Andre Onana – His passing was a little off. Had to make one decent save to deny Tete in the first half. 5/10

Noussair Mazraoui – An excellent full debut. Slotted straight in at right-back and impressed. Good with the ball at feet. Defensively solid and always willing to move forward. 7/10

Harry Maguire – Brilliant throughout. Made some important tackles and won plenty of headers. Also willing to carry the ball forward. 7/10

Lisandro Martinez – Was beaten by Adama Traore early, but used that as fuel for a solid game from that point forward. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Started a left-back and did his defensive job well. I’d like to see him more involved in an attacking sense. 6/10

Casemiro – Continued with the form he displayed at Wembley last weekend. Tough in the tackle. Energetic in midfield. Created some decent chances with some lovely balls. 7/10

Kobbie Mainoo – Not his most accomplished outing but still a positive contributor. Will continue to get better as his fitness levels build. 6/10

Mason Mount – Drifted in and out of the game. Always worked hard and did put the Fulham players under immediate pressure. Missed a half-decent chance. 6/10

Marcus Rashford – Tried to stretch the game with his pace. Wasn’t really given many chances to go at his man 1v1. 6/10

Amad – Had a similar game to Rashy. I would have liked to see him fed the ball more after he built up confidence in pre-season. 5/10

Bruno Fernandes – Continues to be the heartbeat of the team with his cutting edge passing and skill. Missed two very good chances. 6/10

Subs:
Joshua Zirkzee – Scored the winner on debut with a clever finish.

Alejandro Garnacho – Missed a golden chance late on.

Jonny Evans – Helped see out the result with some defensive headers.

Matthijs de Ligt – Made one important tackle on debut.

Scott McTominay – Worked hard
