Thomas Partey named in Arsenal 33-man squad
Thomas Partey has been named in Arsenal’s squad for their pre-season tour of America despite reports claiming otherwise.
Thomas Partey, 29, did not travel to Germany for the Gunners’ 5-3 win over Nurnberg on Friday, one week after he returned from a thigh injury to take part in a friendly against Ipswich.
According to The Times,Thomas Partey was to omitted from Arsenal US tour .
The Times claimed he was instead going remain at London Colney along with Bernd Leno and Folarin Balogun, where the trio will step up their fitness ahead of the new campaign.

Arsenal’s other US fixtures come against Orlando City and Chelsea in Orlando, Florida, over the next six days. He will then return for the final pre-season clash with Sevilla at the Emirates Cup on July 30th.
The group of players on the US tour includes a number of uncertain stars such as Héctor Bellerin, Nicolas Pepe and Ainsley Maitland Niles.
Leno is also approaching a £ 10m move to the newly promoted Fulham, eager to take him out of northern London, just in the final years of his contract.
Arsenal signed rival Aaron Ramsdale last season and US goalkeeper Matt Turner for next season as they were preparing for his exit.
Meanwhile, Balogun couldn’t loaned out from the Gunners this summer after spending the second half of last season in Middlesbrough, scoring three goals in 18 games.
Partey is keen to rebuild the fitness of the game in the weeks leading up to the 2022-23 season after missing the previous two months due to an injury.
The Swiss FA claimed that Granit Xhaka refused the vaccine last September, but it is unclear if his position has changed.
