Arsenal head into the international break unbeaten in the league after beating Manchester City 1-0 at the Emirates on Sunday.
Gabriel Martinelli scored a late deflected winner for the Gunners, who beat City in the league for the first time under Mikel Arteta. As a result, Arsenal now sit second in the league behind north London rivals Tottenham after an excellent start to the new campaign.

Martinelli’s title “belief”
“It was a great win,” Martinelli said. “We know how hard it is to play against them. It was a great performance from the team. Of course it gives us more belief. We are Arsenal and we are always believing about the title. To win against a big side like them is great. We just need to carry on.
“It’s always good to win against the big teams and we did it. I’m so happy. When you play for Arsenal you have to always believe and this is what we do. We play for Arsenal and we always believe we can win titles. It’s another year, we’re going to try to improve things, do better than last year. But I think we are stronger this year, we have a great team and it’s important to have a lot of options.”
Saliba injury boost
Centre-back William Saliba has pulled out of the France squad and will remain at Arsenal to treat a “chronic injury”, with a statement from the French Football Federation revealing the 22-year-old “suffers from pain in his right big toe”.
Saliba is said to have been managing the issue for several weeks and his withdrawal from international duty means he now has plenty of time to get back to full fitness before Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea on October 21.
Martinelli, meanwhile, will not be linking up with Brazil for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers despite returning to action against City, with caretaker boss Fernando Diniz naming his squad when the winger was still sidelined with a hamstring issue.
