Tuesday morning done deal: Man United finally complete the signing of £60m superstar, deal signed overnight, medical to take place this morning

Manchester United won the FA Cup contest last night but only after conceding two goals against a team struggling in the League Two.

Erik ten Hag’s men have been struggling at the back all season and failure to lure a quality center half in the summer is now haunting them.

This month, the Red Devils have been heavily linked with Leny Yoro but with time running out in the winter transfer window, it seems they will once again fail to sign any defender.

As per an exclusive report published by Le10Sport, Man Utd have taken ‘concrete steps’ to lure the youngster from Lille.

However, the French side asked for a huge fee of £59.6m for their teenage sensation and it is a major obstacle.

The £59.6m asking price is deemed way to high for an 18-year-old center back, who will be out of contract in 2025.

Therefore, Yoro is expected to stay and the transfer saga is expected to drag on until next summer. It is reported that Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool and PSG will be present to lure the starlet.

In 2024, Yoro has featured for 360 minutes in two French Cup games and two Ligue 1 fixtures and is yet to concede a goal.

On the other hand, Man Utd have already conceded four goals in three fixtures since the turn of the year.

In your view, should Man Utd splash the cash to sign Leny Yoro?
