Wan-Bissaka starts in 3 big changes | Expected Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Galatasaray – As Erik Ten Hag men set to revenge

Manchester United face Galatasaray on the road in today’s crucial Champions League group stage clash.

The Red Devils picked up a third-straight league win over the weekend. They registered a comfortable 3-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park. Alejandro Garnacho scored with a stunning overhead kick.

Marcus Rashford made it 2-0 from the penalty spot before Anthony Martial sealed the points. Manager Erik ten Hag will be hoping for a similar outcome against the Turkish champions this evening.

United are on three points in Group A, one behind Copenhagen and Galatasaray, who are second and third respectively. They face a must-win situation as the duo face each other on the last matchday.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana has played every minute for United since his summer switch from Inter Milan. He has improved with every game and made a splendid save to deny Idrissa Gueye at Everton on Sunday. He is expected to start between the sticks.

The backline could witness one change from the win on Merseyside. Diogo Dalot could make way for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the right-back role. Dalot registered an assist for Garnacho’s wondergoal but he tends to be caught out defensively.

He made an error for the third goal in the recent 4-3 defeat to Copenhagen in Europe. In our view, Wan-Bissaka is betted suited for the occasion as he will come up against his old Crystal Palace teammate Wilfried Zaha. The 25-year-old is one of the best right-backs in one-on-one situations and made a terrific last-man tackle when the Ivorian was playing for Palace last year.

The rest of the backline should stay unchanged. Ten Hag prefers continuity after a win. Harry Maguire appears his preferred choice at right centre-back over Raphael Varane. The former captain should partner Victor Lindelof in central defence with Luke Shaw in the left-back position.

Kobbie Mainoo made his full Premier League debut from the holding midfield role versus Everton and he was brilliant with his defensive contributions. Ten Hag has literally confirmed that the graduate will continue in the role. Alongside him, Scott McTominay is expected to start with more creative players such as Mason Mount and Christian Eriksen unavailable due to injuries.

In the final third, there could be a couple of changes with one of them enforced. Marcus Rashford has started on the right wing in the last two games but won’t play any part today following his sending off against Copenhagen on the road before the international break.

The manager has the option of playing Antony or Facundo Pellistri on the right wing and may go with the former, who was previously his regular choice in the role. The other change could be up front with Martial making way for Rasmus Hojlund, who has excelled in Europe with five goals this season.

There is an option of playing Martial and Hojlund up top in a 4-2-2-2 formation, but Ten Hag could go for a familiar 4-2-3-1 set-up this evening. Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho are expected to complete the Red Devils attack against Okan Buruk’s side.
