“We all know Ruben Amorim is tactically rugged and as a result, We have agreed to banished THREE of those players he instructed us to sell…We trust his project”: Sir Jim Ratchliffe approve Ruben Amorim first tactical request as a Man United’s coach, banished THREE big names players from the Club

Manchester United are looking to appoint Ruben Amorim as their next manager after sacking Erik ten Hag.

According to a report from A Bola, United will send three representatives to finalise the deal for the 39-year-old manager.

Sporting Lisbon will face Nacional in the League Cup game on Tuesday, and the Portuguese press are convinced that it could be Amorim’s last game for the club.

The young manager has done a tremendous job for the Lions, and Utd representatives will arrive in Portugal today to complete the deal.

Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of the club as an interim manager for the game against Leicester City in midweek, but United are looking to appoint Amorim ahead of their Premier League game against Chelsea on Sunday.

Sporting will receive 10 million Euros (£8.5m) as compensation, and they have already found a replacement. The Sun has reported that Amorim has verbally agreed to join Man Utd, and he is deep in talks with the Red Devils over joining them.

Will Amorim be a good fit for Man Utd?

The Sporting boss has won two Primeira Liga trophies with Sporting, but managing a gigantic club like United is a different challenge altogether.

He prefers an attacking style of football, and his 3-5-2 system could bring out the best in the current full-backs at the club.

Under Ten Hag, United appeared to have moved to and fro, and the recent form has been poor. The Red Devils managed just one win in their last eight games in all competitions, and the form needs to improve.

The Red Devils are one of the richest clubs in the world, and Amorim would get proper support to fix the squad.

Amorim, who speaks perfect English, is one of Europe’s most sought-after young managers, and it feels like he could be on his way to Old Trafford.
