‘We have his replacement already’: Club now sign replacement for £35m man who is “going to Arsenal next season”
Arsenal could now be welcoming Orkun Kokcu to the Emirates Stadium as Feyenoord sign an apparent replacement.

Kokcu has enjoyed an outstanding campaign with Feyenoord – who are on the verge of winning the Eredivisie title – and now, an exit could be happening.
What’s the story?
Well, Feyenoord now seem to have signed a replacement for their No.10 in Ramiz Zerrouki.
The Dutch side announced the 24-year-old’s arrival earlier on Friday, and the timing of the transfer is certainly interesting.
Zerrouki arrives at the Eredivisie leaders just days after Feyenoord legend Johan Boskamp revealed that he believes Kokcu is going to join Arsenal.
The 74-year-old told RTV Rijnmond: “Feyenoord is playing a wonderful season, but they will be robbed again. Then you have to rebuild next season.
“The way I hear it, he is going to Arsenal. They want to get a replacement for Granit Xhaka. When you hear those amounts (£35m), I don’t think he will stay with us.”
Kokcu has certainly earned that £35m price tag
The 22-year-old has played a huge part in Feyenoord’s stunning campaign, scoring 12 goals while also providing five assists in 42 appearances from central midfield.
Arsenal may see Kokcu as a backup
In our view, the rumours about Kokcu are interesting, as Mikel Arteta seems to be aiming his sights higher.
The Times believe Declan Rice is Arsenal’s No.1 midfield target, while another move for Moises Caicedo also hasn’t been ruled out.
As you may know, the Gunners bid £70m for the Ecuador international in January, but Brighton rejected the offer.
Of course, Kokcu could arrive at Arsenal in addition to one of Rice or Caicedo.
