‘We will surely bounce back, it’s just a matter of time’: Sergio Reguilon sends powerful message to Man Utd fans after Bayern loss
Sergio Reguilon was among Manchester United’s best during the 4-3 loss to Bayern Munich, now he has sent a message.
Signed as a throwaway loan to cover the fact both left-backs are injured, Sergio Reguilon has taken his chance already.
With two appearances for the club made, he has been immense in both, quickly establishing himself as the starting left-back.
When facing Bayern Munich, Reguilon was top quality both in defence and attack and actually was one of the only players who looked bothered.
His displays have already got fans questioning whether we have an option to buy him at the end of the season.
Following the game, the Spanish defender has taken to Instagram to share a powerful message.
Reguilon sends strong message
Reguilon seems to have embedded into the team expertly, and was seen supporting Andre Onana following his mistake.
It was this image that Reguilon chose to post on Instagram along with the caption: “We lose together. We will come back stronger together.”
This clearly in response to Onana putting all the blame for the defeat onto himself.
This attitude is hugely beneficial and sends a strong message of unity to everyone outside the club ahead of an absolutely must win game at the weekend.
Saturday is must win
The season has unravelled completely in the last three games, despite losses coming by slim margins.
The performances have been terrible though which has ultimately left many questioning the future of this team.
A win against Burnley on Saturday is vital for Erik ten Hag, as another loss makes it four in a row.
He will benefit from a few injured players who are expected to make their returns.
The turn around needs to start here, or there could be big trouble for United with fans already beginning to turn.
