When I was at Chelsea I’ve met great superstars even here at Arsenal but I have never seen know that can be compare to Him currently in that position’: Kai Havertz says 25-year-old who’s explored joining Arsenal is the most skilful player in the world currently
Kai Havertz has been full of praise for Kylian Mbappe when building his ultimate footballer.
Speaking to Goal on TikTok, Havertz was asked to build the ultimate player by choosing a number of attributes from some of world football’s biggest stars.
Unsurprisingly, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were picked for their left and right foot abilities respectively, while Mbappe was picked for multiple categories.
Indeed, Havertz chose Mbappe for both speed and skill, claiming that the Frenchman is the most skilful player in the world now.
Interestingly, this comes in the same week that it has been reported that Mbappe has explored the idea of signing for Arsenal.
Kai Havertz hails Kylian Mbappe
The German spoke about the 25-year-old.
“Left foot?” Havertz was asked.
“Messi,” Havertz said
“Right foot?”
“Cristiano,” Havertz replied
“Speed?
“Mbappe,” Havertz said.
“Skill”
“Who is doing a lot of skill? I’d say Mbappe as well,” Havertz concluded.
What a player
Havertz isn’t wrong here, Mbappe is probably the most skilful player in the world right now.
The Frenchman can seemingly do anything on the ball. He has every trick in the book, and he can send any defender in any direction while being one step ahead of them.
We’d absolutely love to see Mbappe come to the Premier League, and while that Real Madrid move does seem likely at this point, the reports that he has thought about joining Arsenal this week are very interesting.
If Mbappe does join Arsenal, he’ll have one huge admirer in the shape of Havertz within the squad, and he’d certainly take the Gunners to the next level if he were to rock up at the Emirates this summer.
Mbappe may well be the best player in the world right now, and his combination of speed and skill make him a truly frightening attacking option.
