‘Will get at them’: Chris Sutton predicts winner of Arsenal v Tottenham clash
The international break is finally over, and Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will get the Premier League back under way with the North London derby.
Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff sees Mikel Arteta’s Gunners face Antonio Conte’s Spurs at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal sit top of the table and will hope to consolidate their position at the top.
However, Tottenham have also done well, sitting third in the table and hoping to leapfrog the Gunners at the summit.
It’s arguably one of the most highly anticipated North London derbies in years.
As such, pundits have been focusing strongly on the fixture in terms of predictions and pre-match analysis.
Chris Sutton has given his results prediction for the match on the BBC Sport website.
The pundit expects a goal feast between Arsenal and Spurs, with the Gunners running out 3-2 winners.
“You could make a case for either team here,” wrote Sutton.
“But my gut feeling is to go with Arsenal – and for there to be lots of goals.
“It’s at Emirates Stadium, and I think the Gunners will take the game to Tottenham.
“Spurs like that, because they are at their very best on the counter-attack, but I think Arsenal will get at them.”
