Manchester United star Casemiro has heaped praise on his old teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
The legendary Portugal international currently plays his football in Saudi Arabia at Al-Nassr. He joined them after being released by Manchester United in 2022, and Casemiro rates him very highly.

Manchester United re-signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus in the summer of 2021 for £12.8 million (BBC).
It was viewed by many as a monumental signing at the time, with fans expecting Ronaldo to lead United back to glory after years of disappointment.
Ronaldo had a very good first season. He scored 24 goals and provided three assists for the Red Devils, but things changed after Erik ten Hag was appointed as the manager.
The Dutchman and Ronaldo fell out, and following the Portugal international’s blockbuster interview with Piers Morgan, Manchester United agreed to part ways with him.
Despite what happened, nobody can take away Ronaldo’s contribution to Manchester United and football in general. Casemiro, who shared the pitch with him for years at Real Madrid and then later at Old Trafford, is a big fan of him and thinks he’s up there with the very best.
The Brazilian told Manchester United’s official website: “He gave me loads of titles and goals, so it’s a pleasure to talk about Cris.
“In my generation, he was top three in the world. Without a doubt, he’s one of football’s all-time best.”
A look at Cristiano Ronaldo’s performances at Al-Nassr
Cristiano Ronaldo completed his move to Al-Nassr on a free transfer in January last year.
The Portugal international was always going to be a success in Saudi Arabia despite his age, and his numbers don’t disappoint.
In 47 games in all competitions so far, Ronaldo has scored 41 goals and provided 13 assists. That is a stunning return, and he’s showing no signs of stopping.
We know this is a silly comparison, but just to put things into perspective, the entire Manchester United squad has scored just 35 goals in the Premier League since the start of this season.
