Youri Tielemans told to snub Liverpool and ‘risky’ Manchester United move and join Chelsea instead.
Youri Tielemans has been urged to snub interest from Liverpool and Man United and instead sign for Chelsea in the summer by former United midfielder Kleberson.
Tielemans has evolved into one of the Premier League’s top midfielders since he signed for Leicester in a £40million deal from Monaco back in the summer of 2019 after a successful loan spell.
The Belgian maestro even etched his name into Foxes folklore last season when his strike was enough to seal the Foxes first-ever FA Cup triumph.
But Tielemans has just 18 months left to run on his current deal – and he’s reportedly informed boss Brendan Rodgers and the club’s hierarchy of his desire to quit the club in the summer.
Unsurprisingly, the situation has captured the attention of a host of top flight clubs.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United have all been linked making with a big-money move for Tielemans at the end of the season.
But Kleberson believes that Tielemans should avoid following in his footsteps and instead plump for a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian told Paddy Power: “Youri Tielemans is not at a big club. Leicester City don’t have the pulling power that some of the other Premier League teams possess.
I could see Tielemans going to Chelsea because their style would suit him. When you watch Chelsea play, they are more comfortable with the ball.
