Gunners duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes are also expected to start in the game as it is a must-win for Brazil.
They lost 2-1 to Colombia and are currently fifth in the table for the CONMEBOL qualifiers after losing two and drawing one of their opening five games.
Brazil know they can boost their chances of securing valuable three points with the Arsenal trio in the starting XI against the reigning World Cup champions, and manager Mikel Arteta will hope they all return to London Colney fully fit and ready to feature against Brentford next Saturday.
Jesus has endured an injury-stricken campaign so far having also missed the opening three games of the 2023-24 campaign due to a knee injury.
Despite Arsenal’s worry, it appears Brazil’s medical team has given him the green light to play following their latest assessment, and it will be interesting to see how he fares upon his return to action.
