Arsenal failed to make it three wins from three as they dropped points against Brighton after drawing 1-1 at the Emirates.
The Gunners opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a goal from Kai Havertz after Bukayo Saka played the ball through. Declan Rice was then sent off in the 49th minute which gave Brighton the chance to come back.
The Seagulls scored in the 58th minute and were unlucky to not win after they had a total of 22 shots in the game.
Mikel Arteta’s side will be pleased that they held onto a draw to earn a point and remain unbeaten after three Premier League games.

GK – David Raya – 8/10 – Raya failed to keep a clean sheet but he did make a couple of fantastic saves to keep Arsenal in the game and earn his side a point.
LB – Jurrien Timber – 6/10 – Timber had a quiet game against Brighton and had to deal with talented winger Kaoru Mitoma.
CB – Gabriel – 7/10 – The Arsenal defence conceded their first goal of the season, Gabriel had a good game otherwise.
CB – William Saliba – 7/10 – Saliba did a lot right after Declan Rice’s sending-off, he helped save the draw for the Gunners.
RB – Ben White – 7/10 – White got forward on several occasions and put a couple of crosses in, he also helped to hold onto the lead.
CDM – Declan Rice – 3/10 – Rice was sent off after a second yellow card for blocking the ball in protest when he gave away a free kick to Brighton.
CM – Thomas Partey – 6/10 – Partey had a decent game contributing to the build-up to Arsenal’s goal, however, he did lose the ball in midfield several times
CM – Martin Odegaard – 5/10 – Odegaard missed a golden chance which would have put Arsenal 2-0 up, he was also dispossessed on multiple occasions.
LW – Leandro Trossard – 7/10 – Trossard looked dangerous against his former side, he got onto the ball frequently and also had a chance to score.
RW – Bukayo Saka – 9/10 – Saka had an excellent game despite his team not winning, he assisted Kai Havertz’s goal and looked dangerous all game long
ST – Kai Havertz – 9/10 – Havertz scored Arsenal’s goal in what was an excellent passage of play by the German. He now has two goals in three games for the Gunners.
