Manchester City are on the verge of formalising Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson’s signing.

The Premier League side have agreed to pay £116m [€135.4m] and still want to sign another midfielder.

Manchester City have shown interest in Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali, but he’s on his way to Tottenham Hotspur.

Real Madrid player offered to Manchester City
Enzo Maresca’s side are looking at other options in the market, including Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga.

That’s according to Marca, who claims Los Blancos have offered the France international to Manchester City.

The 23-year-old isn’t part of José Mourinho’s core plans next season as his displays in recent seasons haven’t fully convinced the new manager.

Mourinho has given his approval to sell the midfielder this summer. His plan is to cash in on the former Stade Rennais man and invest those funds on a new midfielder. The coach is of the belief it’s key for the Spanish giants to strengthen this position.

This has seen Real Madrid offer the player to the Citizens. Marca claims the English club are now evaluating the possibility of signing him.

It’s down to the Etihad club to decide whether to move forward or sign other targets this summer. There’s no mention of Real Madrid’s request. He has a contract until 2029, and Transfermarkt value him at €50m.

Last week, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain that Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are lining up to sign Camavinga, value at €60m. The Premier League trio have made approaches and could now challenge Manchester City.

Manchester City also keen on WC midfielder
Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi is starring for Morocco at the World Cup. His form for club and country have caught the attention of a few top English clubs, including Manchester City.

Last weekend, we relayed news that Enzo Maresca’s side are very keen and are leading the race to sign the 18-year-old.

Marca relays it and adds the Etihad club have already held talks with Lille. They are now considering whether to sign and immediately include him in Maresca’s squad or loan Bouaddi back to Lille for one season.

If there’s concrete progress with this operation, Manchester City are then unlikely to sign Eduardo Camavinga.
