Arsenal are reportedly ‘keen’ on signing Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, as per TEAMtalk.
The 27-year-old showcased his productivity for AC Milan last term, scoring 15 goals and registering four assists in 54 appearances across all competitions.

After being impressed by the Dutchman’s performances at San Siro Stadium, the Citizens decided to purchase him last summer. However, he has struggled to flourish in his career under Pep Guardiola this term.
Still, in 30 starts across all competitions, Reijnders has made 14 goal contributions. Moreover, he has helped his side win two domestic cup competitions this season.
Now, TEAMtalk claim that although Reijnders’ existing deal is set to run until 2030, Man City are prepared to cash-in on him this summer. They are looking to revamp the engine room and have slapped a £45m price tag on his head.
After winning the Premier League title, Arsenal are considering adding depth to the squad to maintain their level next term and are ‘keen’ on purchasing Reijnders by taking advantage of his current situation.
However, the North London club will have to overcome stiff competition to seal the deal as Juventus have earmarked Reijnders as a priority target to reinforce the midfield department.
Moreover, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are interested in him, while Milan have been linked with a move to bring him back.
Reijnders to Arsenal
Reijnders is a box-to-box midfielder by trait but is also efficient in the creative midfield position. Furthermore, he can provide cover in the defensive midfield role if needed.
He is quick across the ground, technically sound, can play threading passes between the lines, has an eye for long-range passing, and can chip in with some important goals.
Although Reijnders hasn’t been able to showcase his best at the Etihad Stadium, he is a highly talented player and is currently at the prime stage of his career.
A change of environment could help him rediscover his best form. So, he could be a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal should they purchase him.
However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually make a concrete approach to secure his services this summer.
