Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz delivered another solid display on Saturday as the Gunners made it 11 unanswered away goals from their last two games.

Arsenal ran out 5-0 winners at Burnley, Havertz one of four players getting on the scoresheet for the in-form visitors.

Chris Sutton spoke highly of the 24-year-old early on in the game, following a good run he made that nearly culminated in a Leandro Trossard goal.

The Belgian failed to connect with the ball, leading BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton to deem Burnley “lucky”.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, he then praised Havertz for his efforts on the day and how he’s answering his critics.

“Burnley got really lucky. It’s brilliant play from Arsenal and Trossard missed the ball,” said Sutton.

“A lot has been said about Kai Havertz and his performances at Arsenal this season, but once again it was an important run from him there.”

The Germany international went on to have a great afternoon, constantly causing the hosts problems with his runs in behind.

In the 78th minute, Havertz helped himself to a goal, nutmegging Dara O’Shea and slotting past James Trafford for Arsenal’s cherry on top.

Arsenal had opened the scoring through Martin Odegaard before Bukayo Saka netted a brace – one from the spot – and Trossard also bagged a goal.

Havertz has needed a little time to find his feet at the Emirates Stadium, but he’s now up and running as Arsenal continue to stake a claim for the Premier League title.
