Jack Wilshere has raved about Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on talkSPORT and has been amazed by the progress that the England international has made.
Ramsdale has established himself as the number one goalkeeper for Arsenal and is also part of the England squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has progressed a lot over the years and seems to have recovered from back-to-back relegations with Bournemouth and Sheffield United.
And former Arsenal midfielder Wilshere has been impressed.

Wilshere said: “I was at Bournemouth on loan, and we signed him in January. And this little skinny kid came in and he was the nicest boy, the most humble boy.
“He was so humble, wanted to learn, was really respectful and obviously he had some ability as well.
“His ability to save these unbelievable saves he was pulling off, so when you see that in a goalie you’re thinking, ‘yeah he’s got something’.
“But he must have had the ability to play with his feet like he does, because you don’t just learn that.
“That’s something he’s obviously picked up over the years, but he can always do it, and it depends what team he plays in.
“In the Arsenal team, he’s so important to them because he starts the attack, he creates everything. But I’m just so happy for him from where he’s gone, because he went through hell when he first signed for Arsenal – everyone was doubting him.
“The two years before that he had two relegations, that builds something inside of you, that hunger and fight in you that you can’t just give to someone and he’s got that.
“And he’s a great lad as well, so whether he plays – I think he should play for England – whether he plays or not, it will be great to have him around the group.”
QUALITY PLAYER
In our view, Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is one of the best players in the Premier League and is a key figure in manager Mikel Arteta’s team.
The 24-year-old has done extremely well during his time at the Emirates Stadium so far.
Ramsdale is the perfect goalkeeper for the way Arsenal play.
The former Sheffield United goalkeeper is very good with the ball at the feet and can build attacks from the back.
Now, of course, like every other player, Ramsdale can still improve and get better.
And we think that he will.
Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title and are also in the UEFA Europa League this season.
